Illustrated book project
My illustration teacher asked us to choose a short text an make a book out of it with illustrations . I chose the first chapter of Victor Hugo's The last day of a condemned man. The story is set in the 19th century, but my version is in the present. My teacher leaves me enough freedom to draw the way I like, so I'm going to do a pencil drawing, scan it and then ad colors. I really need a light box! You'll notice that my drawings are still sketchy despite spending hours cleaning them...Here are 3 of them, I'm planning on doing a total of 13.
